Translation agency UAB “Titras” is a company located in Panevėžys, employing several dozens of young and experienced translation specialists. Since our first translation order in 2008 we have grown into a reliable provider of translation services, carrying out written translation in more than twenty languages and many different combinations thereof. We follow the translation principles established by EU guidelines in our every-day activity, and we manage quality by employing means for management and control of translation projects. Translation of text is a separate and very wide scientific area. Therefore this kind of work is carried out only by experienced translation specialists, philologists and linguists with relevant education. Most translation and editing work is carried out by native translators and editors, who were born abroad or lived there for many years. We strive to ensure that the product created by the translators of UAB “Titras” is always precisely “polished” and may contribute to creating and maintaining the high quality of translations in Lithuania and throughout the world.
Our mission is reflected in the name of the company – communication between the many nations around the world lies within the small letters of subtitles. We aim to create the best possible translation product with our precise and detailed work, responsible approach to every language element, language requirements or technical limitations, so that it would meet the client’s expectations and mainly – language standards, maintain the principles of text creation and be pleasant to read. In order to achieve all of this we maintain communication between the most distant links of the translation chain – the translator and the end user of the translation, this helps to not only better understand each other’s expectations, but to solve most puzzling aspects of texts as well. Communication and mutual understanding has a double meaning in translation activity and translation services – it is not only the main aim of the translation, but also a means to achieve it.
